Covid-19: Business Continuity and Revive Management’s Role

In these times of unprecedented challenges on individual households, the public and the private sectors alike, today’s blog will inform you of Revive’s plans for business continuity throughout the crisis, and in particular our critical role in supporting core public utilities.

Providers of water, gas, electricity and other core utilities have been named essential service providers in response to Covid-19, meaning that their continuity of service is essential in helping the country navigate the crisis. Key personnel from these organisations must be allowed to travel without restriction through their relevant regions, so they can carry out essential tasks on behalf of the organisation.

Many of these organisations are amongst Revive’s clients, as the utility industry is one of our key segments.

As such, we are proud to have been named a ‘critical supplier’ to these organisations. This means that our technology is essential in enabling those providers to keep servicing their end users – both individual households and organisations such as supermarkets and hospitals.

We already take business continuity very seriously, and it has never been more important for us to ensure that our customers have a reliable and efficient service, 24 hours a day.

As such, we are taking every precaution possible to keep our staff and, by extension, our customers safe and well throughout this period. We are following all government guidelines in relation to home working, social distancing and frequent hand washing.

As our service is delivered remotely via the cloud, we are fortunate that we are not grappling with the challenges faced by some organisations, and we are continuing to collaborate remotely with our key partners. As things stand, it is business as usual at Revive, and we hope to keep it that way.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to those customers of ours in the utilities and energy industries who are working so hard to ensure that individuals, businesses, hospitals and other public sector organisations up and down the country are supported throughout this period. We hope that our technology is going a small way to help.
